2nd EDITION: 1 - 5 OCTOBER 2014
With the backing of Festival patron Albert Dupontel and supported by la Comète, Châlons-en-Champagne National Stage, the 2014 programme returns for its second year with two international competitions (feature and short), retrospectives (The Lighter Side of World War 1, Women Spies, World War 3), spotlights (Sarajevo, the Arab Springs and revolutions), previews and special screenings introduced by a series of remarkable guests, a programme for younger audiences (the Second World War in the eyes of children), panel discussions, master classes, not to mention news reports and TV series, archive footage and video games, which will all bear witness to the incredible energy devoted by filmmakers, reporters and game designers from countries the world over to the portrayal of past, present and future conflicts.
It will also mark a key moment nationally as part of events commemorating the First World War centenary. The Festival will approach this theme from a fresh, multi-faceted and international perspective, with previews of previously unseen films, cine-concerts, theme nights, special screenings, and guests from both France and around the world.
